As part of the construction of the Staffordshire ERF (Energy Recovery Facility), the 70 tonne excavator with 25m reach was used to remove several thousand tonnes of material as part of the main pit excavation. The deep excavation was a significant part of new building, designed to process waste with high levels of sustainability and plant efficiency with extensive external landscaping and habitat creation.
