Construction on the new £80m V&A Museum in Dundee reached a major milestone with the recent completion of the cofferdam structure in the River Tay.  BAM can now commence foundations inside the watertight dam wich was excavated using our 22 metre long reach machine.  WM Plant have been involved with many cofferdam excavations in and around water, completing a few challenging projects including the enabling works for the new Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier at Rosyth with BAM Nuttall.
