Our Euromach R555 12t Spider excavator played a pivotal role in the ‘River Exe Restoration’ project, recently undertaken for Environment Agency Contractors. The machine overcame significant access challenges, navigating steep riverbanks without the need for ramps, thereby minimizing ecological impact. With an experienced operator, it efficiently removed 16,000 tonnes of riverbed stone, recycled in another location, restoring the river's conveyance and reducing flood risk. The Spider excavator's agility and productivity enabled the project to be completed efficiently, while its minimal ground disturbance preserved the natural habitat.
