July 2025

We recently supported the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE), where BAM and VolkerStevin teams worked together at Lingfield using our CAT 30m long reach excavator to enable successful soil nailing operations despite limitations presented by the nearby River Eden. The mobilisation and demobilisation process was a complex affair, involving navigation of narrow roads, bridges, and weight limitations. Our fitting team ensured continuous work on site while our operations team enabled smooth deployment, both earning praise from BAM for their "great support" throughout. VolkerStevin’s agent commended our operators on their productivity and effective collaboration with their site teams; which were able to work safely and efficiently with the 30m long reach, sitting back from the embankment to overcome the site's challenging conditions. We're delighted to have contributed to the project's success and look forward to continuing our support of SRE's challenging projects.
