July 2026

WM Plant Hire has been supporting Mackley on critical seawall repairs and permanent revetment works with a solution engineered for the toughest coastal conditions. Faced with awkward access and complex logistics through a seaside town with narrow roads, our team recommended the Hitachi 1200 and expertly managed the dismantling of a 130-tonne machine for transport. Operated by an experienced specialist, the excavator delivered an impressive 6-tonne lifting capacity at full 29m reach, enabling precise rock placement to dissipate wave energy and strengthen the coastline. A smart, technically proven response to a highly demanding project.
